A Christ-centered Environment

        Students attend Morning Prayer each day, except on Thursday, when there is a service of Communion.   God is not a forbidden topic in class. Differences               between Christian denominations               are discussed and respected, how-           ever, instruction at Archangel              focuses on those aspects of faith

which all churches have in common.

 

 

 

  Reading Emphasizes Phonics      

Knowing the underlying structure of reading opens the world of knowledge to children. Phonics instruction takes place at all grade levels, and is intertwined with their spelling and written assignments.

 

Education for Virtue

     Children are taught courtesy,

 respect,  good listening, and

participating in a group.  Feedback

on behavior is provided to parents

on a weekly basis.

  

Dress code

     All students must wear light-colored tops.  No t-shirts. Slacks/shorts/skirts/jumpers/dresses are to be black or navy blue. Blue or black sweaters/sweat suits for running/gym are also acceptable. NO pictures or writing on clothing. Students arriving at school out
